Five First Saturdays Masses in the Extraordinary Form (Latin Mass) – Saturday July 1

Saturday, July 1, St. Patrick’s Church will be offering to our Lady the last of the five First Saturdays Masses, the Feast of the Precious Blood of Our Lord, sung in the Latin Rite. Confessions will be heard starting at 10am with the Rosary starting about 20 minutes before the start of Mass, which will start at 10:30am.



Mission Co-Op Speaker – Sunday, July 2 (2nd Collection July 8 & 9)

On Sunday July 2, at all Masses, Rev. Raju Pilla will be speaking about the works and needs of the Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum in India. Unemployment and poverty are most rampant in this community. The Archdiocese depends on outside assistance to support its clergy, seminarians and catechists and to continue its spiritual, educational and economic developmental programs for the community.  Please be as generous as you can in the second collection, which will be taken on the weekend of July 8 and 9.


Coffee Sunday at St. Patrick’s – July 2

Next Sunday, July 2nd, following the 9am Mass at St. Patrick’s, there will be Coffee Sunday. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the food bank.


Archdiocese of Toronto – 175th Anniversary – St. Patrick’s “Doors Open”

In order to accommodate potential pilgrimage groups and visitors to our parish in this the anniversary year of the Archdiocese, St. Patrick’s Church will be open during the months of July, August and September on Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 1pm and Sunday mornings from 10am to 1pm.  Volunteers will be in the church during these times to keep an eye on things and to answer any questions the visitors may have.


Mass for the Faithful Departed – Wednesday, August 2

Mass for the Faithful Departed at St. Patrick’s Cemetery will begin at 7pm in the cemetery on Wednesday, August 2. Please remember to bring a lawn chair for yourself. If the weather does not cooperate, Mass will be in Saint Patrick’s Church.


Congratulations to Margaret Ann Jacobs on being named the National CWL President

Our Lady of Lourdes’ and St. Patrick’s Catholic Women’s Leagues, along with invited guests from the Northern Region, gathered on September 13, 2016 to honour Margaret Ann Jacobs on her installation as CWL National President for the next two year term.  Our parish is extremely honoured to have Margaret Ann hold such a prestigious position.

Parish History Book

The parish history book is now completed and printed.  Please contact the rectory to purchase a copy.  The books are full colour, are 8.5″ x 11″ in size, and are 215 pages in length.  The price is $40.00 each.

Our Lady of Lourdes Militia of the Immaculata

Militia of the Immaculate Conception, founded by St. Maximilian Kolbe, meets each 1st Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, following 9am Mass. We begin with the recitation of the Rosary. Our mission is total consecration to our Blessed Mary, Mother of the Church, through prayer and penance.
